When is the best time to visit

Summer months tend to be the best time for visiting the sandbar. Located on the North side of the gulf on open waters it is best to visit when winds are coming from a Southeast to South direction. Any day with light and variable winds can also be great. Your experience can vary greatly based on what time of year and time of day you visit. For the nature lover and those looking for a peaceful getaway mornings are best. The area is teeming with wildlife from birds to juvenile sharks and rays and much more. If your looking to get your swing picture taken before the crowds arrive than this time is for you.
